Buried Penis

Case:  53 y/o morbidly obese male had history of buried penis.  6 months’ prior has surgery at the university for buried penis.  Including paniculectomy and circumcision.  Outcome shown bellow:

Patient referred by plastic surgeon asking if I can help in the case.  After evaluating the patient, I decided to place and Boston Scientific Tactra malleable implant to help keep the penis erect and prevent it from going back into the pannus while healing.  As an added bonus, once it heals the patient might be able to have sexual intercourse as well.  The patient agreed and decided to proceed with the surgery.

As you can see we had an excellent surgical and functional result as always.  Patient was discharged home extremely happy.
